The quiet power of introverts shapes our world in ways we barely notice. In a culture that celebrates extroversion, we often overlook quiet thinkers. Many of the greatest ideas, art and inventions came from people who valued silence, reflection and solitude.
Introverts are not shy. Shyness is fear of social judgment. Introversion is simply how you respond to stimulation: you gain energy from quiet time, and lose energy from long social interaction.
We need to stop forcing everyone to act outgoing. The world needs introverts to speak up, and we need to create space for quiet ideas to emerge.
